Oops, I see I wasn't clear at all.  My specific concern is about
copyright ownership.  It seems to me that if we extract this from
strace, then the resulting .xml is a derived work of strace.

It would be preferable if we could derive this xml from some FSF-owned
source.  That way we would not have to worry about the legalities.
