MIPS support dlltool missing

Hi.
It seems that the current (cvs) version of dlltool won't accept mips as
the target machine.
There seem to be a bit of work left to make this work properly, so I was
wondering if anybody's working on this ?
If not, does anybody know if it would it be worthwhile for me to start
adding support using the diffs at http://www.innonet.at/~wisi/ (the now
defunct GCC for WinCE (MIPS) project).
And on that note, are there any known validity testers for COFF/PE files ?
