Hi Steve,

  OK I have looover the 'generic' bits of your patches.
  They are basically OK with one real problem and a couple of minor
  nits:

   * Ypatch includes a change to bfd/bfd-in2.h.  However this is
     an automatically generated file.  You should also update
   d/archures.c to add the machine numbers for the 32bit and 64bit
     variants of the IA64 port.  That way, they will not disar the
     next time that bfd-in2.h is regenerated.

   * In the future please do not bother creating context diffs for the  ChangeLog entries, just submit them as plain ASCII.  The
     ChangeLog updates so rapidly that a context diff can rarely     applied without patching it by hand.

   * When you change the configure.in files the corresponding
     configure file  need to be regenerated.  Although you do not
     need to include a patch for the regenerated configure file, it is
     wio mention that the file was regenerated in the ChangeLog
     entry.

  Please fix the problem with bfd/archures.c, plus whar points Jim
  may raise and then resubmit the patches.  After that they should
  prove acceptable, and I hope that Jim willck them in for you.
