Hi,
I am having problems using binutils-2.10.1.0.2 when compling
glibc-2.1 for an arm-linux cross complier development environment.
I get the following error message:
arm-linux-gcc -nostdlib -nostartfiles -r -o crt1.o start.o
abi-note.o init.o
/usr/local/arm/arm-linux/bin/ld: unrecognised emulation mode: elf32arm
Supported emulations: armelf_linux armelf_linux26 armelf
collect2: ld return 1 exit status
The releases notes mentions this problem , but I don't fully
understand the solution. Which specs file does the code beging *link:
go into, the binutils.spec or somewhere else? or is there something
else I have to do to get the correct behaviour?
Thanks for your time,
Stephen Laing
