- Subject: Patch for ld: Use gcc for config instead of hardcoded paths
I've committed the appended patch after a private discussion with and
an approval by Martin Schwidefsky (he approved the s390 part, I'll do
the rest on my own;-). It gives more flexibility for ld (allowing
both 32-bit and 64-bit libs on a systems).

s390x-linux entry to use gcc to report configuration, replace gcc
