    cvs server: [10:59:52] waiting for anoncvs's lock in /cvs/src/src/bfd

cvs should be patched so that anoncvs users do not lock the repo.  We do
this for FreeBSD (see the added 'cvs -R' flag).  This would certainly
reduce the load on sourceware.cygnus.com.
