If the merging of visibility information from different objects is
the required behavior in building a component, then the hack seems
reasonable to me. However, the patch will need testing on hppa64-hpux
with the HP linker to ensure it doesn't mess up something. If the
SOM define for tc_frob_symbol is also changed, then the SOM port
should be tested as well.
