I see also failures with glibc build:
/usr/src/packages/BUILD/glibc-2.3/cc/linuxthreads/libc.so: text relocations used
in
/usr/src/packages/BUILD/glibc-2.3/cc/elf/check-textrel.out
With gcc-3.2.2 and ld -v
GNU ld version 2.13.90.0.18 20030121 (SuSE Linux)
It seems to work with gcc-3.3 and binutils 2.13.90.0.16
Is 2.13.90.0.18 and glibc2.3 cvs supposed to work on ppc32?
