There are currently no plans to emulate ll/sc in the 64-bit Linux kernel
-- the chips are much to braindamaged to care about them. And the 32-bit
kernel does ll/sc emulation because of MIPS I processors and not broken
implementations, which can take advantage of the fact by pure luck only.
