Just a note (I don't approval authority):
I think ARM/VxWorks5.5 expects RELA relocation entries, and GNU AS
generates REL if configured for arm-elf.
One of the selling points of the latest VxWorks tools is that they are
using more standard ABIs, e.g., REL instead of RELA.
