There are no configure errors here. Just type make. If there was a
real error, configure would have exited with an explicit error message,
and there was none in this case.
Since as/ar/ld are part of binutils, you are of course not going to find
any special versions of them if you haven't built binutils yet. But
that is OK, you don't need any special versions. The ones in /usr/bin
will work fine.
