Hi Kazuhiro,

This patch was for a bug of the basic relocation information (RELA).
This relocation was supported from 2.15 branch. But it was applied
for mainline only. I needed requesting it for 2.15 branch at that time.
I think it is a regression bug.

Whether it's a regression or not, there will be no further releases
from that branch.  We don't maintain old ones as long as GCC does.

Daniel is right. Applying your patch to the 2.15 branch is pointless - no more releases are going to be made from that branch, so your patch will not appear in any downloadable tarball. The only way a user could get hold of it would be by checking out the branch sources from the CVS repository, and if they are doing that then they have the ability to download the mainline sources, or the 2.16 branch, both of which are more up-to-date.
