Re: how does ld interpret ELF R_PPC_REL32?


Thanks again. Yes, I have seen the adjusted addends. I have tried this and I can't get an answer I understand. I do this:

0x100000 + 1d7d4 - 1bf0 = 11BBE4
0x100000 + 1d7e4 - 1bf4 = 11BBF0

where 0x100000 is the load address from the map file of B. But these values don't seem correct. The code being referred to is at 0x11d7d4 and 0x11d7e0 respectively. And the relocated code contains a different number, not these.

Sigh, I don't know quite what to do. Thanks again.
