I am not planning one. I may try to do 2.18 a bit early.
The reason I ask, is that GCC 4.2 and later (and perhaps earlier as
well) require this patch to avoid generating bad code when compiling
C++. It would be nice to place a note in the GCC target specific build
instructions noting an official binutils version that would be recommended.
