nanosecond delay

Dear sir/madam,
I am new to ARM Linux, Using GCC compiler v3.3.2, AT91Rm9200 processor
with 18.432 MHz Craystal ,Kernel 2.4.19 i want to produce a delay of 100
nanosecond delay through software is it possible to do through C? i heard
about GAS assember but i don't where i will get it,how to install it and
how to use it?
