I'd use -delete instead of `rm -f {} \;'. But I think this is OK too.

Good idea. OK I have checked this revised patch in along with this changelog entry.

	sub-directories as there may not be Makefiles present in the
	sub-directories.
	* Makefile.in: Regenerate.
