(Iâm not sure how the build system could guess that zlib is under
/nix/store/h43vd616g9l5bxhq8j0rz083sjlpnjnb-zlib-1.2.3.)

In the meantime I found that â--with-lib-path=/path/to/zlibâ does the
trick (itâs recognized by âld/configureâ and passed to the DejaGNU
machinery.)
