RE: gcc -pie makes gdb unable to set breakpoints on Debian/ppc

Thanks Joel. I thought gdb was part of binutils. Wrong.
I see now PIE debugging is called out as new in gdb 7.1:
? http://www.gnu.org/software/gdb/download/ANNOUNCEMENT

I tried it and it works.
