New x86-64 assembly language book

I hope that I'm not offending anyone here, but I have just self-published my textbook, Introduction to Computer Organization with x86-64 Assembly Language & GNU/Linux.

I'm selling it for a very modest cost at lulu.com/spotlight/bobplantz in both pdf ($10.99) and paperback ($24.99) versions.

You may download a free preview copy from my website, bob.cs.sonoma.edu.

It's intended for a first or second year college course, but experienced programmers may find it to be a useful "primer" to understanding the api and manuals for 64-bit mode. As far as I know, it's the only introductory book about 64-bit assembly language. It has been used in the classroom for several years at my university.

Again, I apologize for "advertising" on this list, but I wanted to make you aware of this resource.
