And used in a lot of space applications on the ERC32 and LEON CPUs. :)
It is actually one of the most heavily used architectures for RTEMS among with arm, PowerPC, and x86.

SPARC was a.out when it was first added in the 1994 time frame but we moved everything to ELF when it became available. So RTEMS has had nothing using a.out or COFF for a decade or more.
