No, egcs 1.1 doesn't support m68k-elf. I've got some patches on my web page (written by Mark Phillips) for gcc-2.7.2.2 at http://home.worldnet.att.net/~jabberwock82/crossgcc/ I've also got some patches for egcs based on Mark's but they haven't been tested very thoroughly. Kai Ruotta (I hope I spelled his name right - it was from memory) also had some patches for either gcc or egcs (based on Cygnus's stuff, I think - check the list archives for details). Getting the patches into egcs has become a problem. Last I heard, Mark had run into some legal problems assigning the patches to the FSF. I can't submit my patches since they're basically Mark's. I want to go over Mark's and Kai's patches and see what the differences are, and maybe make a consolidated patch, but I need to do it on my own time to keep my company from getting into the legalities, and I haven't had the time yet. -- John A.
