I ran gcc -v .... to see how gas was being started and the -mcpu=r4600 was being passed through. I tried the change to the specs file anyway and it didn't help. I then went back and used binutils-2.8.1 instead of binutils-2.9.1 and the problem went away. Thanks again. - Joel _______________________________________________ New CrossGCC FAQ: http://www.objsw.com/CrossGCC _______________________________________________ To remove yourself from the crossgcc list, send mail to crossgcc-request@cygnus.com with the text 'unsubscribe' (without the quotes) in the body of the message.
