sparc solaris 2.6 -> x86 windows nt XGCC

Hey Folks,

I've browsed FAQs, mailing list archives, search engine results, your famous
websites, etc, and I'm still stumped.

My ultimate goal is to build an Excel callable dll from my sparc-solaris2.6
workstation. I really want to use a solaris 2.6 host.

Has anyone done this?

I thought the correct approach would be to build a Sparc Solaris 2.6 hosted,
i86 Windows NT target cross compiler. And then use a Sparc Sol 2.6 hosted
dllwrap. I followed the FAQ 4.1 example.

To get me started, what is the recommended gcc.2.95.1 configure "--target"
option? i386-coff? i368-mingw32? both worked for binutils but not
gcc.2.95.1. Could it be this host (sparc solaris 2.6) is the problem?

Thanks in advance for any help!
John
