Dos window

Hello all,
	I'm using a linux-> windows cross compiler.  I can compile and run
windows applications fine so far.  However, when I run these apps on windows, 
I notice a dos window is popping up behind my application window.  What is causing this, 
and more importantly, how do I stop it?

The compiler I am using is the one I got from :
