  <nitpick> ELF isn't an ABI, it's a file format.  I can't remember where
I found links to it, but it was probably on the gcc website
http://gcc.gnu.org/ on one of the links/docs/further reading pages. 

  Alternatively, if you're happy to receive large emails, I could send you
a copy of elf11g.zip, which I've had lying around on my hard drive for ages.

"The file ELF11G.ZIP decompresses into the ELF.PS and README.TXT 

ELF.PS is a postscript file which contains the Executable and Linkable
Format Specification, V1.1."

  You can convert ps->pdf in ghostscript.  I cannot say whether I have
the most up-to-date documentation there.

  I'm very soon about to go home for the evening, so reply directly to
