Use powerpc-linux-gcc to compile ash?

Now I want to compile a ash for my powerpc board.
I do this on my i386 pc, use some powerpc-linux-gcc,
but can't get the ash build successfully.

My ash is 0.3.8-37 , download from debian.
There's no configure script in ash's source dir,
I'm confused .

Any one have compile ash for powerpc,
tell me howto compile this?
Or just give me ash's binary on powerpc .
