What if I want the source? Not for the compiler and debugger; I know where to find those, but the "ocd-linux-libs". I binary-only release seems too painful to use as the package includes a kernel module that needs to be recompiled for every kernel version (as far as I can tell.)----- Original Message ----- From: "Toralf Lund" <toralf@procaptura.com> To: "Crossgcc list at Redhat (E-mail)" <crossgcc@sources.redhat.com> Sent: Wednesday, September 24, 2003 9:57 AM Subject: JTAG Pod?
http://www.objsw.com/CrossGCC/Has anyone here used a JTAG "Pod" like the BDI2000 or Macraigor "Raven"? Which one would you recommend?
(I want hardware/software that supports GDB, of course - and I'd like to be able to flash etc. as well as debug.)

I would recommend the RAVEN. If cost is an issue then the WIGGLER.
There are precompiled GNU tool sets for various processors available
at www.ocdemon.com. Both Linux and Windows/Cygwin are supported.
There is a flash utility that uses the RAVEN or WIGGLER but that is a licensed product.
I do have a vested interest here as I work for Macraigor. ;-)
Pete.
