Hi Marc;

  Thank you for the tip.  I was able to successfully compile with ada turned 
off.  Now to figure out where I need to put the newly created libraries 
compiling ncurses generates so that gdb can pick them up.  Still trying to 
grok that, think it should be where crosstool places the libraries, but I'm 
not sure yet.
