This compiler works well on all our architectures (X86, > ARM, PPC 60x, 4xx, 8xx, MIPS, SH3). Gcc 3.2 was always known for producing incorrect code for ARM, so I didn't use it. At the moment I'm trying to migrate to 3.x as more and more packets (kernel, glibc) need a newer compiler, and as 3.3.2 was already out when I started I used that one.
