Cross-compiled XFS source code for XScale gives malfunctioning code.

Hello,

A piece of XFS (SGI's filesystem) source code compiled for XScale is giving problems. The piece of code is some simple arithmetic, but seems
to give false results.

This was reported on the ARM mailing list here (with a patch from Greg
Ungerer), but the fact is that the original code should have worked too.

http://oss.sgi.com/archives/linux-xfs/2004-03/threads.html

The fact that multiple people saw this on different XScale cores, and
that the XFS code _looks_ raised doubt on the toolchain. The discussion
is now continuing on the XFS mailing list.

Just wanted to point interested people to these lists, as this _might_ be cross-toolchain related.

Regards, Leon.
