I am trying now to rebuild a 68k hosted ppc-morphos gcc-2.95.3-5,
Morphos being another reimplementation of AmigaOS,
I want this cross compiler to exist in the same directory structure as other gcc's,
Now this morphos-gcc calls "as", but this results in 68k native "as" being called which then fails,
so instead I want morphos-gcc to call ppc-morphos-as instead,
However "as" is not specified in specs for gcc-2.95.3-5,
with gcc-3.3.1 "as" is specified there so I can fix such a problem for gcc-3.3.1 by substituting "as" by "some-prefix-as" in specs,
My question is:
where is "as" specified in gcc-2.95.3-5? (grep doesnt seem to help me),
ie which entry in which file should I change so that gcc -c xyz.c -o xyz.o would call ppc-morphos-as instead of "as",
I think --target=ppc-morphos should do it, but you may need to update e.g. gcc/config.gcc to handle that... - Dan
