Re: crosstool success/failures i686->sparc

I got crosstool-0.27 last night and tried making a cross compiler for
i686 -> sparc.

sparc gcc-3.3.2-glibc-2.3.2
failed to apply a patch properly

sparc gcc-3.3-20040126-glibc-2.3.2
failed because it couldn't find the gcc snapshot on ftp.gnu.org

Try crosstool-0.28-rc28

sparc gcc-3.3-glibc-2.3.2
worked and built working hello world programs for sparc :)

Yay!

Thanks for putting in the time to develop the scripts. It makes
building a cross compiler trivial. After attempting 3 or 4 times to
compile everything on my own and failing, it was a lifesaver.

You're welcome. Be sure to spread the word. - Dan
