Yes, the patch does work.  I was being stupid.  But I still have the same
problem.  I will eagerly await crosstool-0.37.  Thanks for the help!

That's odd.  Seems to apply to glibc-2.3.5 here.

Maybe you should hold off until I release crosstool-0.37 Real Soon Now.
