cannot build crosscompiler

Subject: cannot build crosscompiler

Hi folks,

I've just tried to build a new crosscompiler w/ current 0.38
but all gcc/glibc configurations i've tried did fail.
seems that gcc cannot be compiled by my running gcc-3.4.2,
even 3.4.2 itself :(
