crosstool for mipsel/linux on OSX 10.4.4 fails

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

hi all,

after bouncing around #irc, i'm (finally) new here, and new to x-compiling using crosstool, etc etc.

i'm trying to get uclibc up-n-running on OSX 10.4.4 for x-compile to mipsel/linksys WRT54Gx.

following instruction here:

    http://www.kegel.com/crosstool/crosstool-0.38/doc/crosstool-howto.html

and invoking:

	eval `cat mipsel.dat gcc-3.2.3-glibc-2.2.3.dat` sh all.sh --notest

fails at:

"configure: error: can only configure for one host and one target at a time"

searching on the list, the *latest* info i've found is:

Dan Kegel - Re: [Crosstool 0.28rc25] failed demo-mipsel.sh on Mac 10.3.4
   http://sourceware.org/ml/crossgcc/2004-06/msg00276.html

b4 i start the usual flailing around, DOES "it" build on OSX? am i missing something obvious?
thanks for starters/pointers!

richard
