I am using it for these series of Atmel cores, and prevents a lot of
hassle with building compilers.
If you just need a compiler and not need to customize it, it could be
a way to go and save you a lot of time...


Well, a large part of it is the need for (future) customization, and part of it is wanting to figure
out how to do this. :) I guess I'd like to have control and knowledge of the process
from the ground up. (And as much as time permits)
