I'm waiting the 1.0 milestone with impatience! pcc looks really promising,
compared to gcc, as it looks to be well architectured, and really easy to
setup and install. Far from being as complete as gcc, but far from being
as bloated as gcc, either! ;-]

I will also try tcc: http://bellard.org/tcc/
