Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think that "dsp" is a supported target for gcc
(it does not appear in the gcc-4.3.2 manual, anyway).

What is your "core" processor? If it really is an ARM with a DSP, then you
should use something like --target=arm-linux-gnu (or arm-linux-uclibc, or
armeb-...).

If you want to configure gcc to generate code for the DSP, I think this is
not possible, and that you'll need the compiler for your DSP from your
DSP vendor.
