Matthias, All, Better keep the list CCed next time... ;-) On Tuesday 11 May 2010 22:26:26 Matthias Hofmann wrote: > is there a central place where to find working build configurations, > especially for cygwin? ;) No. From _my_ point of view, Cygwin is a second class citizen. If crosstool-NG works on Cygwin, then that's nice. If it does not, and I can spot the error just by just looking at the build.log file, then I can devise trivial fixes/workarounds. If the error is not obvious, then someone else than me will have to come with an explanation of the error, and better yet, with a patch. I had to install a virtual machine just to test your configuration, and after 16h, it's still only ./configure-ing the static core gcc, which it takes less than 4min on my native Linux system. That's... 240 times slower... > i have some problems to understand which version of which components > compile together correctly... The samples are known to work, and I strive to making the latest versions work, with a tendency to sacrifice old versions on the altar of progress. Regards, Yann E.
