RE: Newbie question - tmpnam error


Even after removing the CT_BUILD_PREFIX, I still see the same 
tmpnam error

-Is there anything else that I can try?

The same you initially configured crosstool-NG, run:
    ct-ng menuconfig

and navigate the menus to:
    Toolchain options  --->
        ()    Tools prefix
