Updated: gettext-0.10.35-2p1

I've made a very minor update to the gettext package on sourceware.
gettext is the GNU package which provides 'national language support'
for other programs. It includes a number of utility programs as well as
a library, libintl, that can be linked to your own programs.

CHANGES:

o removed /usr/info/dir from the binary package

This was done to prevent overwriting an existing file of the same name.
Remember to make a backup of your current /usr/info/dir BEFORE
installing this new package -- since setup UNISTALLS the previous
version it will *remove* /usr/info/dir.

Actually, according to Earnie Boyd, you're better off if the directory
file name is "/usr/info/dir.info" instead of "/usr/info/dir". To
recreate a clobbered or missing /usr/info/dir{.info}, do this: for each
base info file (that is, cvs.info, not cvs.info-1, cvs.info-2 etc) run
the following command:

install-info --dir-file=/usr/info/dir.info
--info-file=/usr/info/foo.info

INSTALLATION:

To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on
the http://sources.redhat.com/cygwin web page. This downloads setup.exe
to your system.

Run setup and answer all of the questions. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE
choose a mirror site for your download. The 'sources.redhat.com' site
is badly overloaded. The mirrors below have the latest version of this
package:

ftp://ftp.sunsite.utk.edu/pub/cygwin/ (US)
ftp://ftp.franken.de/pub/win32/develop/gnuwin32/cygwin/mirrors/cygnus/
(Germany)
ftp://ftp.ntua.gr/pub/pc/cygwin/ (Greece)

The setup.exe program will figure out what needs to be updated on your
system and should install the gettext package automatically.

If you have questions or comments, please send them to the Cygwin
mailing list at: cygwin@sources.redhat.com . I would appreciate if you
would use this mailing list rather than emailing me directly. This
includes ideas and comments about the setup utility or Cygwin general.

If you want to make a point or ask a question the Cygwin mailing list is
the appropriate place.
