[ITP] gtk+-1.2.10

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

I would like to contribute gtk+-1.2 to the Cygwin distribution. This
will allow porting of those apps which still use this version of GTK+
(e.g. dillo, gnucash). This package can install parallel to gtk2.

These packages (and those for glib) can be installed with setup.exe by
adding the following address to your server list:
http://cygwin-ports.sourceforge.net/install

NOTE TO CYGNOME USERS: Installing these glib and gtk+ packages with
setup.exe will replace the CyGnome packages. As these were built with
libtool, the dlls are versioned (i.e. cyggtk-1-2-0.dll), and will not
work as is with anything built against the CyGnome packages. The
solution is either to manually install the CyGnome runtime packages, or
possibly, just copy the dlls to unversioned names (i.e. cp
cyggtk-1-2-0.dll cyggtk.dll). The good news is that these packages are
built against the newest versions of cygwin and xorg-x11; the CyGnome
ports are built against cygwin-1.3.x and XFree86-lib-compat. This
package includes the source patches from CyGnome's 1.2.10-20.

For those building these packages from source, don't mind configure's
messages that it can't build shared libraries; a new version of libtool
is automatically patched in after running configure.
