Ah, right. Well, I could commit the depends-checker now, if you'd
like. It's more or less ready. But there are still a couple of rough
edges. For example if you select a package to be uninstalled, and the
depends checker overrides that, it will do a reinstall of that package
rather than just doing nothing (i.e. it's already installed, no need to
reinstall.) Also, it doesn't catch the case where you deselect a
package in 'Base' that doesn't necessarily have any dependencies. I
suppose in theory there's nothing wrong with that but I have always
taken 'base' as 100% required always.
