Did you read what I wrote?  If you *CC* cygwin-apps you will be causing
confusion.  Do not do that.

So, to reiterate: cygwin-apps is not a bug-reporting mailing list and,
if you are a package maintainer, you should be monitoring the cygwin
mailing list.

If someone is inclined to send a (non-cc'ed) heads up about a new
version then that's ok but, presumably, package maintainers should be
monitoring for new versions, too.
