idle seems to work.
I have uploaded python-2.6.7-1 built against your Unix X11 Tcl/Tk to a
staging area on sourceware:
~jlt63/staging/python
You implied that you will coordinate copying all of the relevant
packages to the release area to avoid breaking the distribution in the
following:

If so, then give me a heads up when you are done and I will send out my
release announcement. If not, then let me know when I should copy
python-2.6.7-1 to the release area.
