Yeah, but that's obviously a cygwin fork with completely different
functionality added.

<standard-cgf-rant>Why don't people contribute directly to the cygwin
*project* rather than branching out with their own efforts?  Just imagine
how much further down the road to complete linux emulation we'd be if
the main version of cygwin was written in Octave.</standard-cgf-rant>
