Hello Xfree porters,
just a little remark if you install Suhaib's "xc"
tarred file on a W95 computer : don't untar it on
a directory that already includes many characters,
typically under "/usr/local/src". I recommend
untarring directly under "/", provided the root
directory is already mounted on the drive itself
(c: or d:).
Why ?
Because if you try to use "Scandisk" to repair
your disk, this utility will complain that paths
exceed 66 characters for some subfolders far down
below 'xc'.
Any other solution ?
