I sent this message to Suhaib earlier, but I think its a question others may
be asking as well, so I'll post it here. Basically: what are currently the
alternatives to a product like exceed? A real X server, vnc, anything else
come to mind?

I've seen quite a bit of activity on the list recently, and things seem to
be looking good! A quick question though: at present, how easy (and
reliable) is an installation of something that will function to allow X
Clients (as exceed and others do)? Here at work people are thinking about
buying a lot of exceed licenses, but if there's a free alternative,
obviously that would be better, but it has to be a 'solution' as they like
to call it and not a hack.
