RE: Direct Draw Init Failed


Are you on Win98 or WIn95?  Check mail archive please.
Due to crapy 16 bit GDI in win89x, xwin cannot lock
DirectX x-server.  We do not plan to alter code for
Win95, it down grade the performance, but will add support
to Win Me, which finally has 32 bit graphical display and does not
disguise users with a lies about win95/98 being true 32 bit OS.
