The problem is that netscape AND ie think it is a text file (because
of the "BZ" at the beginning. You can download them with any ftp client
which allows you to set the transfer mode to binary (ftp.exe, wsftp...)
or, if you have an local linux ftp server, upload the file to the
ftp server using ascii mode (this wraps the CRLF to just CR) and then
download with binary mode. Or write a program which wraps the CRLF to
CR (recode doesn't work :-()
